Dear colleagues,
Professor Djuro Macut, an important member of European NeuroEndocrine Association and Professor of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology was nominated as the mandate holder for the prime minister of Serbia on 6 April 2025.
Professor Macut is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade (since 2019), Visiting Professor, Medical Faculty, University of Skopje, Skopje, North Macedonia (since 2022), Visiting Professor, Athens University School of Medicine, Athens, Greece (since 2019), Head, Department of Endocrine Tumors and Hereditary Cancer Syndromes, Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetes and metabolic Diseases, University Clinical Center of Serbia (since 2018), President of Serbian Society for Reproductive Endocrinology (since 2012) and obtained the Award of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade for scientific contribution in 2023 and the Recognition of the Serbian Medical Association in 2013.
Finally, Professor Macut was elected as an Executive Committee member of European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) acting as ESE Finance Committee Chair.
