The School of Medicine of NKUA, following the relevant decisions of the Assembly of the School of Medicine and of the Senate of NKUA, announces the start of the Third Cycle of the Program Postgraduate Studies lasting four (4) semesters, which leads to the award “Master’s Degree” with the title “ENDOCRINE NEOPLASIA“, Master of Science (MSc) “ENDOCRINE NEOPLASIA” for the academic year 2024-2025 according to N.4485/17, Official Gazette 1366/24-08-2022.
The Third Cycle of the Master’s Degree starts on October 10th, 2024. The number of admissions will be a maximum of thirty (30).
- Registrations: From 17 June 2024 to 30 September 2024.
- Participation Cost: 800€/semester or 3.200€ in total.

To participate in the program the requirements are the following:
- Degree holders of the 1st cycle of studies of the Departments of Medicine, Biology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Genetics, Psychology, Nutrition, Biology, Biochemistry/Chemistry, Genetics of the country or similar institutions recognized by DOATAP foreigner.
- Graduates of other related University Departments, domestic or foreign. The purpose of the MSc is to familiarize new doctors and other health scientists with modern knowledge and new techniques used for diagnosis, staging, treatment and support for patients with endocrine neoplasia. In addition, it provides expert knowledge of new treatment protocols, latest data and trends in the research of endocrine and neuroendocrine neoplasia. Worth noting that the professors in it participate in a European multicenter study “Consolidation algorithm for early diagnosis and monitoring of neuroendocrine patients pancreatic tumors, NEXT” (Professor M.M. Konstantoulakis), are founding members of the Center of Excellence of NKUA for ENETS (European NeuroEndocrine Tumours Society) (Head Professor Gr. Kaltsas), participation in the writing of the guidelines of ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) and ENETS (Professor Gr. Kaltsas), as well as having participate in international ISE (International Society of Endocrinology) (Professor Gr. Kaltsas) and European scientific councils Endo-ERN (European Reference Network on rare endocrine conditions) (Professor G. Mastorakos) and ENEA (European NeuroEndocrine Association) (Dr. Kr. Alexandraki).
